The model I'm taking my inspiration from for this month of daily prompts is: the chakras. We've grounded and let go of old stuff with the base or root chakra (the colour red). We've gone with the loving flow of the sacral chakra (orange). Now we're about to explore the solar plexus chakra, which is associated, among other things, with personal power. |

We've left the heart chakra and moved up to level five, the throat chakra. This is the chakra associated with self expression, speaking one's truth, and clear and honest communication. |

First prompt for level six, the third eye chakra, situated in the middle of the forehead (and same position at the back of the head—all chakras apart from root and crown operate at the front and back of the body). The colour is indigo. This is the chakra of seeing not with the physical eyes, but with the eye of consciousness. |

touch
That completes our journey through the chakras. Let’s exercise the sense of touch, generally under-explored in haiku. Use the word if you wish, or convey via context. |
